One of the first photographers, and one I most recently discovered is Steph Burch. Her photos stood out immediately & her talent to take photographs of people & equine was clearly seen!

Her photographs are simply stunning, and extremely pleasing to the eye. The way she is able to capture the bond between the horse and the rider is most important, as it is that which creates the image as a whole.
Steph is able to make the subject of the image about the horse and handler while still successfully able to create a aesthetically pleasing background with colours, textures and very strong depth of field.
I am very fond of Steph's work, with it being so simple yet so impacting to the viewer. Her level of work is definitely something to strive for, and she reminds me that it's not simply about the equipment its about what your seeing as a photographer and being able to capture exactly that.
Her website and facebook link is above. I would highly recommend you check her work out!
Another favourite which I would like to put as one of my inspirations is Sarah Farnsworth.

Sarah Farnsworths's hunting photography is next to none! Her versatility and constant variety in her images is refreshing and always inspiring. She creates strong artistic & documentary style images in one. The images make you feel as if you are there, you can feel the warmth in a sunset, the thrill of the ride and the true sportsmanship in hunting. Her work is a constant reminder that we are always changing, any image can tell a story & there is always something to photograph!
Thirdly is Lottie Simons. She is a freelance fashion and equine photographer. Her work stands out to me as for her fashion expertise playing a part in her Equine photography.

Lotte's work is heavily conceptual and very unique, a style to which I adore! I love her use of vibrant colours and props in portraits, even simple portraits that have been taken in the field, the use of a prop has made the image work aesthetically and has created a whole new atmosphere and feel to the imagery.
I love her collaboration of fashion photography with equine photography. She doesn't make either look cheap, over used or obvious, she makes both areas work together to compliment to create the strongest image possible. The colour techniques another area which i'm quite fond of. Bold yet dreamy, simple yet very impacting!
These photographers are amazing! Thanks for introducing me to the last two. If you get the chance it's worth having a look at Ally Wilson Photography. C:
